Postpartum support: home visits with nourishing meals and hands-on help.
Customized to what you need most.
The period after birth is often different from what you expect. No matter how well you prepare, you will never know exactly how birth will unfold, what your baby will be like, or how you will respond. While everything revolves around your baby, it’s easy to lose sight of yourself and many mothers feel tired, uncertain and alone.
What is a postpartum doula?
As a postpartum doula, I come to your home and offer physical, emotional, and practical support in the weeks after birth and up to 6 months.
Ayurveda as guiding principle.
Ayurveda forms a practical thread throughout my guidance: using nutrition and lifestyle as a foundation to support your body’s recovery and rebuild your energy.
#1
You recover physically and mentally with more care and less doubt.
#2
You experience more energy and stability in your days.
#3
You build mental resilience and trust in yourself as a mother.
#4
You increase the chances of a relaxed start with breastfeeding.
Postpartum care is always tailored.
In an initial intake, we explore what matters most to you. During the home visits, I attune to how you are feeling and what is needed in that moment. This can include:
-
Emotional support, a listening ear, and space for your story.
-
Guidance in understanding your emotions.
-
Creating calm and structure in daily life.
-
Support with (breast)feeding and advice on sleep and feeding rhythms.
-
Coaching to grow your confidence as a mother or father.
Coaching to facilitate your matrescence journey.
-
Moxa therapy, herbal baths, massages, and rinses for perineal healing.
-
Support with your baby, including gentle rhythmic movements.
-
Support with light household tasks.
-
Preparation of nourishing meals and snacks to support your healing.
-
Access to a network of specialists, such as pelvic floor therapists and lactation consultants.
-
Someone to turn to with questions at any point along the way.

Who is postpartum support for?
This program is for you if you:
✔︎ Want to truly create space for your recovery after birth.
✔︎ Don’t want to feel alone during this period.
✔︎ Need someone who is there for you — not only for your baby.
✔︎ Want to invest in your energy, nourishment and long-term wellbeing.
✔︎ Have limited support around you, or experienced an intense start (such as a caesarean birth or a challenging delivery).
✔︎ Are looking for guidance that goes beyond practical help alone.
✔︎ Want to support your recovery through the practical wisdom of Ayurveda.
The way you recover in the early weeks shapes how strong your body becomes, how clear your mind feels, and how naturally you step back into life and work.
Curious if postpartum support is the right fit for you?
How I work:
Step 1: Introduction
The introduction is with no obligation. We’ll discuss your wishes and share more about Mama Thrive. From there, you’ll receive tailored advice.
Step 2: Intake
Ready to move forward? Then we’ll plan your intake before your baby arrives. In this conversation, we’ll explore which type of support fits you best and talk through your wishes. Together, we’ll design a tailored plan.
Step 3: Support
And then your little one has arrived! Depending on your package, the visits might look like this: twice in the second week, another visit in week 3 or 4, and a final one in week 6. I’ll always make sure our visits don’t overlap with regular maternity care.
Step 4: Reflection
After three months, we’ll plan a review moment, either online or in person. It means a lot to me to hear how you and your baby are doing and to learn about your experience of the support I offered.
